This handcrafted Jianshui purple pottery contains no glazed or waxed components.  teapot is made in a classic Ding-inspired form, a shape rooted in ancient Chinese ritual vessels and known for its balanced proportions and dignified presence. Finished in smooth red clay with a minimalist, unglazed surface, the design highlights the natural beauty of the clay itself.

Each teapot is shaped entirely by hand using authentic Jianshui Zitao. The plain red clay finish allows subtle variations in tone and texture to emerge through firing, giving every piece its own quiet character. The unglazed body supports natural breathability, helping preserve clean tea flavors while developing a deeper patina over time.
