Shipping Policy
1. About Our Shipping Origin
Please note:
Our headquarters is located in the United States, while all parcels are shipped directly from Jianshui, Yunnan, China—the birthplace of Jianshui Clay.
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders placed before 5:00 PM PT (Seattle) are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
- Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- During peak seasons or special circumstances, processing times may be slightly extended. Any delay will be communicated by email.
Once your order is processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
3. Free Shipping Policy
- Enjoy FREE shipping on orders over $80 USD.
- This applies to all products storewide, except items in the Contemporary & Custom – Large Jars (大缸) category.
Exceptions
- Large Jars and certain oversized or custom-made items require separate shipping charges.
- Fees will be shown at checkout or confirmed with you before shipment.
4. Customs & Taxes
- Import duties, taxes, or carrier handling fees (if any) are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer.
- We do not include customs charges in the product price unless explicitly stated.
5. Tracking Information
Tracking numbers are issued once the order has been dispatched.
Tracking updates may take 1–3 business days to appear and may not show details until the parcel clears customs.
After receiving the tracking number, please allow up to 7 business days for full tracking information to become available.
6. Shipping Methods
We ship via EMS or other reliable private couriers, and all orders include tracking information.
The courier used may vary depending on the destination and package size to ensure the safest and most efficient delivery.
Shipping Restrictions
- PO Boxes: We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
- Delays: Delivery may be affected by customs inspections, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
7. Update Shipping Address
We are unable to change the delivery address once the parcel is in transit.
If you need to modify your address, please contact us within 24 hours of placing the order at:

8. Order Cancellation & Changes
You may request to cancel or modify your order before it has been shipped.
If a refund is issued before shipment, a processing fee may apply to cover non-refundable payment and transaction costs (typically 3%–5%).
Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled or modified, but you may request a return in accordance with our return policy.
9. Damaged Items Policy
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Required Documentation
- Clear photos or video of the damaged item
- Photos of the original packaging
- Order number
Resolution
If approved, we will at our discretion:
- Provide a replacement, or
- Issue a refund to the original payment method
Note:
Minor variations inherent to handmade ceramics are not considered damage.
10. Lost or Delayed Packages
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
However, we will assist in investigations:
- Private couriers: delay exceeding 10 business days
- EMS: delay exceeding 30 days
If confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement or refund.
11. Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the parcel:
- Please contact the carrier directly to file a claim
- Carrier confirmation constitutes proof of delivery
