Jianshui Bodhi & Peony Relief Shi Piao Teapot

A handcrafted Jianshui clay teapot in the classic Shi Piao form, featuring a textured surface with Bodhi and peony relief decoration.

The raised motifs are worked into the surface of the teapot, creating a tactile, dimensional design that contrasts beautifully with the warm bronze-brown tone of the clay. The compact Shi Piao form, angular spout, and balanced handle give the piece a distinctive traditional silhouette.

Made from natural Jianshui clay and left unglazed, each teapot is individually shaped, decorated, and finished by hand.

With an approximate capacity of 240ml, it is well suited to gongfu tea brewing and everyday loose-leaf tea sessions.
