Jianshui Black Chattering Handleless Teapot

A handcrafted Jianshui clay teapot featuring a distinctive black chattering texture and a compact handleless form.

The textured surface is created by hand using a traditional chattering technique, producing rhythmic carved marks across the clay body. Each piece is individually shaped, textured, and finished, giving the surface its own depth and tactile character.

The dark finish emphasizes the carved texture while preserving the understated character of the unglazed clay surface. Its compact handleless form creates a simple, balanced silhouette for everyday tea brewing.

With an approximate capacity of 180ml, it is well suited to gongfu tea brewing and everyday loose-leaf tea sessions.
