This handcrafted Jianshui Zitao pottery office mug features a lively shrimp motif created through a multi-layer carved and color-inlaid technique. The design is first engraved into the clay body and then carefully filled with colored clay, forming vivid imagery that is fully integrated into the surface rather than applied as a raised relief.

The rounded belly form offers a comfortable grip and generous capacity for daily use. Made from natural Jianshui clay and fired at high temperatures, the mug develops a dense, heat-stable body suitable for both hot and cold beverages. The unglazed interior preserves the pure taste of drinks while the exterior showcases the traditional craftsmanship.
